The Lord Provost of Stirling, Elaine Watterson, is delighted to invite you to the 2025 Lord Provost Lecture being held on Thursday 29th May in the historic Guild Hall at Cowane’s Hospital, 49 St John Street, Stirling, FK8 1ED, 6.30-9.30pm.
This unique event will feature the Lord Dean of Stirling Guildry, Mrs Elizabeth Roads celebrating the ‘History and Functions of the Merchant Guildry of Stirling’ and Mr Lorne Scott, Master & Factor/CEO of the Cowane’s Trust showcasing a unique insight into John Cowane and the exciting new heritage project at John Cowane’s House (Queen Mary’s Palace, St Mary’s Wynd, Stirling).
Tickets Cost £10 pp (excluding ticket fees) with proceeds donated to The Lord Provosts chosen Charities – Radical Weavers and Trossachs Search and Rescue
Allanwater Brewhouse will be providing a paying bar available to guests for refreshments before and after the event and also during the interval.
